What personal data we collect and why we collect it

The Golden Ladder website does not retain much information about visitors from our website. Where information is collected we will state why we need it. Where there is a request to receive information we simply need to know how to contact the requester.

Contact forms

Our contact forms require basic information like Name and Email address. This information is accessible only by The Golden Ladder staff and not sold to any third party providers or companies.

How we collect data

From time to time we obtain personal data from other sources as follows:

• names and contact details of Client personnel who will be added as account members for the Clients account, may be added by existing account members;
• names and contact details of individual contacts at prospective Clients from third party data providers and/or public sources, such as social networks, company websites and other online sources.
• names and contact details of individuals provided by our Clients to be processed.

How we use your data

We collect information and process them as a Data Processor on behalf of our Clients. The information we collect is combined and reported back in aggregate to the client that commissioned the research.

• We collect contact information such as full name, company name, email address, postal address and telephone number when you email or call us with an enquiry or an application for work
• We may be passed information, lawfully collected by our clients, who want us to ask you whether you would like to participate in certain events. This information may include your full name, job title, company name, email address, telephone number, postal address, and may also include information about your area of specialisation, etc.
• We may also collect your details from publically available sources or purchase lists from suppliers operating within data protection regulations
• When we conduct research we may collect additional information from you, only ever with your consent. You will be provided with the full details of the information we wish to collect at the time we ask for your consent

How long we retain your data

We will hold all the data for so long as we have an obligation to the Client to provide the Services, and thereafter until such time as we delete the Client’s account in accordance with our Client NDA. We will retain and use your information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose(s) for which the information was collected. Your personal information will be deleted on one of the following occurrences:

• deletion of your personal information by you (or by another person engaged by the Client); or
• receipt of a written request by you (or another person engaged by the Client) to us.

What rights you have over your data

At any point while we are in possession of your personal information, you have the following rights:

• The right to access your personal information
• The right to edit and update your personal information
• The right to request to have your personal information deleted
• The right to restrict processing of your personal information
• The right to object
• The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
